IMF team to visit Sri Lanka for seventh review
An International Monetary Fund (IMF) team, headed by Mission Chief for Sri Lanka, Evan Papageorgiou, will visit Sri Lanka from September 10 to 23 to conduct the seventh review of the country’s US$2.9 billion, four-year Extended Fund Facility (EFF) programme and the 2026 Article IV consultation, the IMF said.

When the sea stops paying, poverty deepens

Construction sector sounds alarm over bitumen supply

Sri Lanka’s DFCC Bank to list 13-pct debentures
Sri Lanka’s DFCC Bank is listing 12.5 billion rupees of 13.00 percent debentures, it said in a stock exchange filing.
